Senior Systems Safety Engineer

Key Notes On transportation and infrastructure projects, you’ll act as a systems-safety engineer across transportation and infrastructure design projects, producing and checking designs while supporting project assurance, risk controls and progress reporting. The role requires knowledge of CSM, CDM and design-risk assessment, plus experience delivering engineering work packages. This is a permanent hybrid role based in London, Leeds, York or Manchester. What You'll Work On Prepare outline and detailed designs for single-discipline and multidisciplinary projects, applying systems-safety procedures and design-risk controls through the lifecycle.Coordinate technical inputs with interfacing disciplines and prepare quality-assured engineering deliverables in accordance with project requirements and applicable regulatory controls.Report design progress to technical and project-management leads, review delivery procedures and address issues affecting the assigned engineering work. What They Are Looking For Experience: Engineering design responsibility for deliverables within a work package or project.Domain: Understanding of CSM Regulations, CDM 2015 and design-risk assessment.Qualification: A relevant degree or equivalent discipline-specific education.Experience: Applicants need progress toward registration with ICE, IET, IMechE or another relevant institution.
