Senior Bridge Engineer

Key Notes Across rail and highway projects, you’ll lead bridge-engineering tasks and small teams, managing design production, checks, approvals and work-package delivery across rail and highway projects. Responsibilities include surveys, change control and coordination with project-management teams. A relevant degree, IEng or equivalent status with progress toward chartership, and multidisciplinary project experience are sought. This is a permanent hybrid role across four UK offices. What You'll Work On Lead bridge design, integration and checking for small and medium packages, coordinating engineers, designers, graduates and apprentices against delivery commitments.Direct bridge surveys, review technical reports and develop recommendations on corrective action based on the assessment evidence for each structure.Control technical changes and agree their cost and programme implications with project teams while maintaining quality and budget oversight. What They Are Looking For Qualification: A relevant degree or equivalent discipline-specific education.Qualification: Applicants need IEng or equivalent status with demonstrable progress toward chartership.Technical: Bridge analysis experience using MIDAS, SuperSTRESS, Autodesk Structural Bridge Design or Sofistik is desirable.Domain: Multidisciplinary delivery experience with CDM and CSM regulations.
