Required qualifications
4+ years of professional experience, with a strong backend focus.PHP / Laravel – deep command of Eloquent, service classes, queues/jobs, migrations, events, and the broader ecosystem.SQL / relational data modeling (MySQL) – including performance tuning on large datasets.REST API design and auth patterns (OAuth, role/permission-based access).Experience integrating third-party APIs (payments, CRM, email/SMS) with robust error handling.Working proficiency in React (hooks, state management) – enough to build and maintain data-heavy UI features end-to-end.Solid Git workflow, code review habits, and a bias toward maintainable, well-tested code.Strong problem-solving skills, proactive communication, and ability to take full product ownership in an agile environment.
Nice to HaveWeb scraping at scale (Goutte / headless browser / Selenium) and keeping scrapers resilient to site changes.Familiarity with Laravel Passport, Spatie Permissions, Laravel Cashier, Maatwebsite Excel, or PDF tooling (DomPDF / FPDI).Experience working with geospatial data (spatial queries, coordinates/mapping).Experience with cloud infrastructure (AWS) and server management.
