Site Reliability Engineer - Observability

Location: Gelderland, Netherlands Contract: Payroll/Secondment, ZZP Duration: 12 months, extension possible Start date: As soon as possible Hours: 32 - 37 hours per week Rate: Negotiable On-site: 2 days per week, Tuesday and Wednesday Screening: Basic screening and VOG Language: Dutch only About the Role For a large organisation in Gelderland, we are looking for a Site Reliability Engineer focused on observability. You will join a platform team working on developer tooling, platform engineering, automation and developer experience, using AWS and Kubernetes. The platform has data across multiple sources. Your focus will be bringing metrics, logging, tracing and alerting together to improve visibility, troubleshooting and reliability. Key Responsibilities Implement and expand OpenTelemetry across the platformConnect and expose telemetry data from Azure EventHub and other sourcesBuild and improve Grafana dashboardsSet up effective alerting with minimal noiseApply SRE principles across the platformSupport teams in adopting SRE practices Requirements Proven experience with observability and monitoring in complex platform environmentsStrong knowledge of OpenTelemetryHands-on experience with GrafanaExperience with metrics, logging, tracing and alertingStrong knowledge of SRE principles and experience implementing them within teamsExperience with AWS and KubernetesFluent in Dutch Nice to Have Experience with Azure EventHub or comparable streaming technologiesExperience with on-premise platforms alongside cloudExperience within a large, regulated organisation Please feel free to apply to this post or share your latest CV to scarlett.diem@amoriabond.com to learn more about the opportunity.
