Principal RFIC Design Engineer

We are seeking a Principal RFIC Design Engineer for our Reading-based client; a leading developer of cellular transceiver technology. At least 3 days a week in the office would be required with this role. Here the Principal RFIC Design Engineer will be the central point of expertise within a team working on future generation RFIC products for 5G wireless applications. The role will involve taking technical ownership of key RFIC circuits and sub-systems, working across the full design lifecycle from specification and architecture through to design, verification and production. The role offers significant breadth and scope to influence, together with horizonal career paths to leadership or management in future. Key requirements include: A Master’s or PhD degree within a relevant Engineering fieldAt least ten years’ experience within RF IC development A proven track record working on highly integrated RF transceivers, ideally related to wireless communication systems An excellent team attitude, and ability to thrive in a multicultural and multidisciplinary environmentAn ability to work at least three days a week in the office You can expect competitive salary, plus annual bonus and RSU plan.
