Principal Process Engineer

This is a project lead engineering role required to supervise a team and provide processengineering subject matter expertise. What We Can Offer Commitment to Diversity and Inclusion Competitive remuneration package Commitment to continued professional development Global connections Responsibilities The key experience and capabilities required for this role are: Minimum of 15 years post graduate experience with at least 10y in design of oil and gas production facilties of which at least 3yr is in a lead or focal point role Proven track record in leading small teams of process engineers to meet deadlines within allocated budgets for concept level process design work Familiar with conceptual level design engineering deliverables covering onshore wellheads WHCPs, and associated well startup and hydrate management systems, flow assurance (developing scopes of work for sizing multiphase lines), integration of new production into existing plant, and estimation of manhours for FEED and Detailed Design phases Capable of presenting process study findings to client, including evaluations of process options, efficiently driving towards agreement on selection of a single way forward Familiar with plant and well pad layout and construction issues Familiar with modern Process Design Quality Management systems and capable of acting as checker and approver of deliverables from the Process team, and of performing interdisciplinary reviews of the deliverables from other engineering disciplines Capable of guiding the Process team to complete design, operating and maintenance philosophies process engineering concept selection studies HYSYS or UniSim simulations (steady state) and modelling to produce heat and material balances for the client’s case map for production combinations over the life of the field Development of concept level block diagrams, PFDs and preliminary P&IDs Development of preliminary relief system design Familiar with Process Safeguarding practices for oil and gas production facilities. Familiar with Process design reviews, risk reviews, and technical safety workshops including HAZOP and HAZID Experienced with providing input to the Materials Group for their estimation of corrosion and erosion rates to permit recommendation of materials of construction for the new systems Qualifications What makes you remarkable?
