Senior Frontend Developer

We are looking for a Senior Frontend Engineer in Lisbon who's eager to embark on an exciting new opportunity! :muscle: :star-struck: About KWAN We connect IT professionals with projects that match their skills, professional experience, and goals, then we offer a career progression program, delivered by in-house specialists - our People Experience Partners - to guide them through our journey with us. :rocket: What is this challenge about • Develop modern, production-ready React and TypeScript applications following existing frontend architecture and architectural guidelines. • Transform complex architectural concepts into reusable React components, maintainable interaction patterns, and data-driven interfaces. • Build complex workflows for fleet management, deployment, operational monitoring, and intralogistics. • Integrate frontend applications with backend REST APIs, handling asynchronous data, loading states, error states, data synchronization, and user permissions. • Transform complex, large datasets into intuitive, data-dense interfaces, operational monitoring interfaces, dashboards, KPI visualizations, and analytics views with filtering, aggregation, and drill-down capabilities. • Write high-quality, secure code daily as a hands-on developer, developing complete features independently and debugging browser, frontend, and API integration issues. • Maintain and improve software quality through unit testing, integration testing, end-to-end testing, static analysis, dependency management, code reviews, and refactoring. • Optimize browser rendering, frontend performance, and usability while balancing information density and avoiding technical debt. • Contribute to component-driven development and the team's design system. • Collaborate closely with Product, Backend, DevOps, QA, and Robotics teams within an Agile development environment. :hammer_and_wrench: What we are looking for • 5+ years of advanced expertise in React, TypeScript, and modern JavaScript. • Proficiency in Tailwind CSS, HTML5, CSS3, responsive design, adaptive UI development, and component-driven development. • Deep experience handling real-time, high-frequency WebSockets, as well as REST and GraphQL APIs, asynchronous data handling, frontend state management, and data synchronization. • Proven ability to optimize browser rendering and UI performance, processing fast-streaming data without blocking the UI thread. • Experience building operational monitoring interfaces, analytics views, KPI visualizations, and data-dense dashboards. • Demonstrated knowledge of core software engineering practices, including clean code, maintainability, refactoring, secure coding, performance optimization, error handling, and observability. • Hands-on experience with automated testing practices, including unit testing, integration testing, and end-to-end testing (e.g. Jest/Vitest, Cypress or Playwright). • Proficiency with modern development tools, including Git, pull requests, CI/CD pipelines, modern build tools, package managers, and dependency management. • Experience working with Docker and containerized development environments within Agile product teams. • Fluency in English. :point_right: Do you meet most of the position requirements?
