Microsoft Fabric / Power BI Admin Engineer
We are seeking an experienced Microsoft Fabric / Power BI Admin Engineer to support and optimize a large-scale enterprise analytics platform.
You will play a key role in ensuring the platform remains secure, scalable, performant, and easy to manage while enabling users to access trusted data and insights.
Working closely with platform engineers, architects, security specialists, and business stakeholders, you will drive platform governance, automation, monitoring, and operational excellence across the Microsoft Fabric and Power BI ecosystem.
Key Responsibilities:
Administer and govern Microsoft Fabric and Power BI environments.Manage tenant settings, workspace governance, security controls, and gateway infrastructure.Monitor capacity usage, platform health, and performance metrics.Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks and operational issues.Develop monitoring solutions, dashboards, and reports to provide platform insights.Automate administrative tasks and deployment processes using PowerShell, REST APIs, Azure DevOps, and YAML pipelines.Support security, compliance, and governance initiatives.Troubleshoot incidents and ensure platform reliability and availability.Define best practices and standards for platform usage and workspace management.Collaborate with technical and business teams to continuously improve platform capabilities.
Required Skills & Experience:
Proven experience administering Power BI in a large enterprise environment.Strong knowledge of Microsoft Fabric and Power BI Premium.Experience with capacity management, governance, security, and performance optimization.Hands-on experience with:Tenant administrationWorkspace managementGatewaysSecurity and access managementMonitoring and operational supportExperience with PowerShell scripting and automation.Knowledge of REST APIs.Experience with Azure DevOps and YAML pipelines.Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
