Senior Learning & Development Facilitator (Custodial) – Eastwood Location – Corrective Services NSW Academy, Eastwood NSW Position Type - Senior Assistant Superintendent (SAS) 5-Days, Talent Pool Creation Salary – $147,250 pa plus superannuation and annual leave entitlements Your role The Custodial Training Unit (CTU) is recruiting a Senior Learning and Development Facilitator. This is a unique and exciting opportunity to be engaged as a member of the CTU Leadership Team at CSNSW (Corrective Services NSW). Manage the design, development and delivery of quality learning and assessment programs across the Division to contribute to the achievement of performance planning objectives and develop industry specific occupational and behavioural capabilities required of staff. What You’ll Do Create and deliver practical training programs that help employees build the skills and knowledge the organisation needs.Work with managers and staff to understand training needs, identify skill gaps, and recommend the best learning solutions.Support employees during their learning, track their progress, and assess their skills using different tools and methods.Coach and mentor staff, give helpful feedback, and support their professional growth to promote a positive, respectful, and high-performing workplace.Oversee and support employees who are completing formal qualifications.Develop and implement learning plans, policies, and initiatives to ensure training services are effective and high quality.Measure how successful training programs are, identify risks or issues, and prepare reports and recommendations for improvement.Make sure all training activities meet Registered Training Organisation (RTO) standards and comply with vocational education and training regulations. What We’re Looking For Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE40116 or its successor).Relevant vocational qualifications and experience in training delivery areas.
