Mechanical Design Engineer

Ready to make an impact? We’re looking for an experienced Mechanical Design Engineer to join our Engineering team and play a pivotal role in the development of Sunamp’s next generation of products. This is an opportunity to do more than simply maintain what already exists. You’ll be involved in the definition, ideation and development of new and modified products, helping turn ideas into solutions that can make a real difference. Based at our head office in Macmerry, on the outskirts of Edinburgh, you’ll report directly to our Engineering Manager, Kieran Doak, working as part of a team that is developing innovative thermal energy storage technology. We’re looking for someone with: A degree or equivalent qualification in a relevant engineering disciplineAt least two years’ experience in a similar roleStrong knowledge of thermodynamics, product development and manufacturingExperience of 3D modelling using Autodesk or equivalentA practical, hands-on approach and the drive to make an impactExperience or knowledge of thermal energy storage would be an advantage.
