Director of Product - Developer Experience and UX Platform

Location Details: BC or ON - Canada or USA Remote At GoDaddy the future of work looks different for each team. This is a remote position, so you’ll be working remotely from your home. You may occasionally visit a GoDaddy office to meet with your team for events or meetings. This position is not eligible to be performed in Alaska, Mississippi, North Dakota, or the Virgin Islands. Own GoDaddy’s developer experience strategy, driving AI efficiency, automation, and reduced cycle timeChampion modern, agentic workflows, using copilots, autonomous agents, intelligent CI/CD, and automated testingBuild the evolution of developer platforms including local development, CI/CD, testing frameworks, and observability. Identify and eliminate friction across the end-to-end engineering lifecycleEstablish metrics and dashboards for engineering velocity, efficiency, and developer fulfilmentDrive and own our enterprise Platform vision, including design systems, component libraries, pattern governance, and accessibility standardsPartner with Product, UX, and AI/ML to enable AI-powered and conversational UX patterns across GoDaddy product surfacesEnsure cross-product experience consistency across web, mobile, and emerging surfacesDefine Platform health metrics: adoption, consistency, design debt reduction, and experience qualityAlign leaders across Product, Engineering, and UX around a unified developer experience and UX Platform roadmapBuild, lead and mentor an influential team spanning platform engineering, UX systems, and AI experience toolingBe the 'voice' on engineering efficiency, platform strategy, driving a culture of data-driven decision-making, experimentation, and continuous improvement Your experience should include... 10+ years in product management across platform engineering, developer efficiency, or platform design systems in a global SaaS/technology organization. Direct proven experience improving engineering efficiency while enhancing quality7+ years as a direct people manager, able to motivate, develop and coach teams and support people development across the organization. Strong interpersonal skills able to demonstrate data to influence senior leadershipExperience in deploying AI copilots, agentic workflows, or LLM powered interfaces, with large-scale design systems, governance, or multi-product experience frameworksShown success owning end-to-end developer platforms and/or enterprise platforms with deep understanding of SDLC, developer workflows, and cloud architecturesStrong technical credibility, able to work and lead cross functionally with product, engineering and UX design
