Senior Software Engineer – Oracle PL/SQL Role: Senior Software Engineer Primary Skill: Oracle PL/SQL Experience: 5 Years Location: Onsite-Dubai Mandatory Skills: 5+ years of hands-on Oracle PL/SQL development Strong SQL and PL/SQL programming Relational database design, indexing, and performance tuning Experience with high-volume, high-transaction production systems Development of PL/SQL packages, procedures, functions, and triggers Complex SQL query development and optimization Job Description: Design, develop, test, and optimize Oracle PL/SQL packages, procedures, functions, and triggers. Develop and tune complex SQL queries for large reservation, inventory, and passenger data schemas. Analyze and resolve data discrepancies related to bookings, fares, ticketing, and payment/FX reconciliation. Ensure data integrity and support audit/compliance requirements. Work with large-scale transactional systems and optimize database performance. Collaborate with technical and business teams to troubleshoot and resolve database-related issues. Preferred / Good to Have: Experience in the airline industry. Knowledge of PNR, fare/ticketing data, inventory management, and airline reservation systems. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
