Senior Security Network Engineer

We are looking for an experienced Senior Security Network Engineer to join a team in Strasbourg, with strong expertise in Fortinet FortiGate, Check Point, network security and secure connectivity. You will manage and troubleshoot security platforms, implement network security policies and ensure secure communications. This position is based in Strasbourg, France, with onsite presence required for at least 50% of the working time. Candidates who are not currently based in Strasbourg should be willing to relocate to the Strasbourg area to meet the onsite requirement. Candidates need to be willing to request Security clearance required after starting Tasks and Responsibilities Manage, maintain and troubleshoot network security platforms supporting client connectivity;Configure and support Fortinet FortiGate and Check Point security environments;Implement and maintain security policies for secure communications between systems and Member States;Manage and troubleshoot VPN connectivity and secure network communications;Support Intrusion Prevention and Detection Systems (IPS/IDS);Monitor and manage network traffic inspection and security controls;Investigate and resolve network security and connectivity issues. Profile Bachelor's degree in IT or a related field;10+ years of professional IT experience;Strong hands-on experience with Fortinet FortiGate;Strong experience with Check Point security technologies;Experience with Forcepoint;Strong knowledge of network security, firewalls, VPNs and traffic inspection;Experience with IPS/IDS technologies;Ability to work onsite in Strasbourg for at least 50% of the time;Security clearance will be required after joining.Experience with NSE4, NSE5, NSE7, CCSA, CCSE or CISSP certifications would be an advantage.
