This position is with one of our clients in United Kingdom who is actively hiring candidates to expand their teams. Role: Scala Developer Location: Chester, Bromley, UK (Hybrid) Employment type: Full Time Permanent Skill Required: 6+ years of overall IT industry experience, with strong expertise in software development. Strong programming experience in Scala, and familiarity with Scala frameworks. Good working knowledge of Java and backend application development. Solid understanding of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) and Functional Programming (FP) concepts. Experience designing and developing scalable, high-performance applications and services. Strong knowledge of MySQL, including database design, query optimization, and performance tuning. Experience developing and consuming RESTful APIs and microservices. Experience with version control systems such as Git. Familiarity with DevOps practices and CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or Azure DevOps.
