Job Responsibilities 1.Solution Design & Project Development Lead design of grid-side, generation-side, and standalone/shared energy storage solutions covering PCS, EMS, BMS, and substation.Conduct electrical calculations and simulation for applications like FCAS, peak shaving, and black start; support cost estimation and pricing strategy. 2.Tendering & Bidding Support Lead utility-scale storage tenders. Prepare technical proposals, equipment selection, topology design, and deviation analysis.Ensure compliance and technical excellence, aligning with Australian grid codes (e.g., AEMO). 3.Full Lifecycle & Technical Enablement Support project execution from design to delivery and O&M; resolve electrical interface, communication protocol, and grid integration issues.Develop technical docs (development guidelines, grid connection FAQs, SOPs) and train sales/project teams. 4.Market Insights & Competitive Analysis Track Australian energy storage policies (capacity compensation, spot market rules, grid connection).Benchmark competitors (e.g., Sungrow, HyperStrong); conduct SWOT analysis and support product evolution (liquid cooling, high-voltage cascade).Qualifications Bachelor’s+ in Power Systems, Electrical Engineering, High Voltage Engineering, or related fields.Minimum 3+ years in energy storage; proven experience supporting utility-scale (100MWh+) projects is preferred.Strong knowledge of primary/secondary electrical design; familiarity with protection systems, grid compliance testing (AEMO/AEMC), and SCADA/communication protocols.Proficiency in power system analysis tools (PSCAD or ETAP is a plus).Fluent English; strong cross-functional collaboration and technical writing skills.Available for domestic (Australia) and overseas business trips (APAC, Europe, America).
