About the Role:
We are looking for an experienced Senior Backend Engineer to design, build, and scale high-throughput distributed systems.
In this role, you will work on improving the availability, scalability, latency, and efficiency of core services, writing clean and optimized code primarily in Go (Golang).
Key Responsibilities:
Design and write high-performance services in Go to enhance availability, scalability, and latencyCollaborate with engineering and architecture teams to create scalable, resilient system designsParticipate in code/design reviews and engage in capacity planning, performance tuning, and optimizationPartner with Product, UX, and Infrastructure teams to define, prototype, build, and scale backend servicesProactively debug, perform root cause analysis, and solve production incidents during on-call rotationsProvide technical guidance, mentorship, and foster engineering best practices within the team
Key Requirements:
Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, IT, or related fields5+ years of software engineering experience in a distributed systems environmentStrong hands-on experience with Golang (core syntax, standard library, concurrency primitives, and optimization) OR strong proficiency in another language (Java, C++, Rust, Python, etc.) with full willingness to work in GoSolid Computer Science fundamentals (algorithms, data structures, and system architecture)Proven experience building/maintaining high-throughput distributed systems, streaming systems, and queuing modelsStrong background in operational excellence, site reliability (SRE), monitoring, and capacity planning
