About the Opportunity:
The SENIOR SOFTWARE ENGINEER, DATA PLATFORM is responsible for designing and building advanced data infrastructure that transforms vast amounts of raw data into actionable insights supporting machine learning and autonomy engineering teams.
This role contributes by developing scalable backend services for data processing, discovery, and lineage, ensuring these pipelines are robust, efficient, and user-friendly.
The position plays a critical role in enabling the organization's data-driven decision-making and innovation efforts.
Responsibilities:
Design and build next-generation data infrastructure.Develop scalable backend services for data discovery and lineage systems.Write maintainable, high-quality code to process petabytes of data.Lead system design and conduct code reviews.Maintain scalable data processing and access using cloud ETL technologies.
Requirements:
3+ years of experience as a data or data pipeline engineer.BS or MS in Computer Science or related field.Strong development skills in Python and SQL.Expertise with AWS services such as EKS, Lambda, and ETL.Experience in distributed system design and development.Ability to work effectively in fast-paced, continuous delivery environments.
Pay Range and Compensation Package:
Salary range: $149,000—$198,500 USD base salary.Additional compensation may include bonuses or equity.Compensation details vary based on skills, experience, location, and other factors.
