About the Opportunity:
The ASSOCIATE SOFTWARE ENGINEER is responsible for designing, building, and deploying scalable backend services, microservices, and cloud-native solutions to support complex healthcare workflows.
This role contributes to automating engineering processes and integrating AI tools to improve system efficiency and innovation, directly impacting the delivery of healthcare services.
Responsibilities:
Design, develop, and deploy backend services and microservices using Python and FastAPIBuild event-driven architectures with Apache Kafka and manage data persistence with MongoDBContainerize applications with Docker; deploy and monitor workloads in KubernetesEstablish and optimize automated CI/CD workflows using GitHub and GitHub ActionsDevelop AI-powered solutions to address business challenges with responsible AI practicesUse enterprise AI tools to automate tasks and improve workflowsAssess emerging technologies and AI trends to inform solution designCollaborate with development teams, participate in code reviews, and contribute to software architecture discussions
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degreeMinimum 1 year of software development experienceAt least 1 year experience building backend applications or microservices with PythonExperience with RESTful API development using frameworks such as FastAPIProficiency with version control and automated workflows using GitHub and GitHub ActionsExperience containerizing applications using DockerExperience working with relational or NoSQL databases (e.g., MongoDB)
Pay Range and Compensation Package:
Salary ranges from $60,200 to $107,400 annually based on full-time employmentThe pay range and compensation package will be determined based on candidate experience, skills, and other relevant factors
