About the Opportunity: The SENIOR SOFTWARE ENGINEER position involves contributing to the development and optimization of core platform services, particularly focusing on data handling within secure FedRAMP Moderate and High environments. This role is responsible for designing and improving systems that support data collection, processing, and visualization, directly impacting the organization's ability to deliver reliable and secure cloud and edge networking solutions. Responsibilities: Design and implement scalable, high-performance software using C, C++, Go, or JavaBuild and enhance data streaming services on the platformDevelop highly concurrent systems optimizing CPU, memory, and I/O for low-latency, high-throughputCreate full-stack software solutions from front-end APIs to backend infrastructureFocus on system security, scalability, and performance improvementsCollaborate with multi-tier engineering teams to troubleshoot complex distributed network issuesProvide technical guidance and code reviews to junior engineers Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field with 5 years of relevant experience5 years experience with distributed systems and networking protocols (TCP/IP, SSH, SSL, HTTP)Proficiency in one or more languages: Java/TypeScript, Go, C, or C++Experience with at least one scripting language: Python, Perl, or ShellStrong understanding of multithreading, concurrency, and synchronizationExcellent debugging and troubleshooting skills with attention to detail Pay Range and Compensation Package: For US candidates, base salary ranges from $121,400 to $218,600 per year, determined by experience, skills, certifications, and locationCompensation may include annual bonuses, equity awards, and participation in an Employee Stock Purchase Plan Benefits & Perks: Healthcare coverage401(k) savings planPaid maternity and paternity leavePaid time off including vacation and sick timeFamily-friendly benefits and employee assistance programs focusing on mental and financial wellness Equal Opportunity Statement: Our client is an equal opportunity employer.
