About the Opportunity: The DATA INTEGRATION ENGINEER is responsible for designing, building, and maintaining integration pipelines that enable data exchange between internal systems and external partners. This role ensures reliable, scalable data flows that support the organization's operational and clinical objectives. The position is critical in managing complex data transformations, maintaining data quality, and enhancing integration capabilities to support growth. Responsibilities: Design, build, and operate integration pipelines for data exchange with third-party APIs, webhooks, and custom endpoints.Transform and map data between internal schemas and external partner specifications.Validate incoming data, segregate invalid data, and automate resolution processes.Manage data backfills and integration pipelines for new customer deployments.Produce and maintain technical documentation and API specifications.Handle integration failure modes, rate limiting, and edge cases with resilient mechanisms.Develop systems enabling non-engineers to configure, monitor, and backfill integrations.Ensure data quality through automated testing and pipeline monitoring.Collaborate in Agile teams to deliver integration features.Support customer support and operations teams with technical expertise and participate in on-call rotations. Requirements: Minimum 5 years of experience in software, backend, or data engineering.Expertise with REST APIs, webhooks, and third-party platform integrations.Proficient in Python and SQL for data transformation and pipeline development.Experience with complex data transformations, schema mapping, and payload normalization.Knowledge of handling API operational challenges at scale, including retry strategies.Strong communication skills, especially in technical documentation.Proactive in identifying and resolving data ingestion issues.Commitment to quality and thoroughness. Pay Range and Compensation Package: Salary range: $165,000 to $185,000 USD or $140,000 to $160,000 CAD, depending on experience.Bonus plan and stock options included.
