About the Opportunity:

LEAD DATA ENGINEER will play a critical role in designing, building, and maintaining scalable data solutions that support healthcare analytics products focused on revenue cycle, supply chain, pharmacy, and other capabilities.
This position is responsible for translating business and analytical requirements into reliable, production-grade data pipelines, APIs, and services.
The role contributes to the organization's ability to deliver actionable insights to clients and supports technical leadership and mentorship within the data engineering team.
Responsibilities:
Design and estimate effort for enhancements to healthcare analytics applications.Develop and deliver high-quality, tested code for data-driven applications.Troubleshoot and resolve issues within the application environment.Collaborate with engineering teams to ensure comprehensive platform improvements.Recommend and implement performance, availability, and functionality enhancements.Assist in project planning and roadmap development.Maintain documentation of system and solution designs.Provide training to internal subject matter experts and stakeholders.Offer technical leadership and mentorship to data engineers.
Requirements:

work authorization.Bachelor's degree in a technical field or equivalent experience.Strong fundamentals in computer science.Minimum of 6 years of professional software development experience.At least 6 years of experience with Python and SQL.At least 6 years of experience with cloud technologies, particularly Amazon Web Services.Experience with version control systems such as Git or Subversion.Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.Self-motivated with the ability to learn quickly.Ability to collaborate within a multidisciplinary engineering and product team.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with agile development and Scrum.Familiarity with PostgreSQL, Data Build Tool (DBT), infrastructure-as-code tools (e.g., CloudFormation), and UNIX-based systems.Experience with AWS services including Snowflake, CloudFront, API Gateway/Lambda, ECS, Application Load Balancer, EC2, S3, and VPC.Prior work with analytics-driven applications and healthcare data standards such as EDI/FHIR.
Pay Range and Compensation Package:
The estimated base salary for this role is $140,000.
This position supports full-time remote work.
