Mechanical Engineer (3 positions) For one of our clients in Eindhoven, a high-tech engineering company, we are looking for three Mechanical Engineers. Each role has its own focus and requirements: a senior role in heavy machine building (ADES), and two medior roles in the semiconductor field (Sustaining and VPA). About our client Our client is an internationally operating high-tech engineering company that develops and builds complex systems, modules and machines. Its core work is in the semiconductor industry, where it works closely with the leading chip machine makers. It also takes on demanding projects in other industrial sectors. Multidisciplinary teams handle the full journey, from concept and design through to validation and support in the field. What you'll do Mechanical Engineer – ADES (senior) This role is part of a project to develop an Accelerator-Driven Subcritical Reactor (ADES). It needs expertise the client doesn't have in-house yet. The setting is heavy industry and machine building rather than semiconductor. Develop mechanical concepts and technical solutions for industrial systems where fusion technology, materials science and salt-based processes play a central roleDesign piping systems for very high temperatures (up to 900 °C) and high pressuresSupport feasibility studies, design, implementation, testing, validation and commissioningAct as senior technical advisor in the project, working independently and alongside internal and external stakeholdersSpot technical risks early and turn them into robust, practical solutionsMechanical Engineer – Sustaining (medior) Carry out sustaining engineering on wafer handler (WH) modules already in the fieldAnalyse technical issues and take them from problem to lasting solutionImprove existing designs for reliability, performance and manufacturabilityWork with multidisciplinary teams, suppliers and the end customer to put solutions in placeMechanical Engineer – VPA (medior) Develop and improve mechanical designs for high-tech equipment and modulesTurn requirements into technical solutions together with multidisciplinary teamsKeep internal and external stakeholders aligned on goals and deliverablesTake part in engineering reviews and technical decisions, track progress and drive corrective actions where neededMake sure designs meet quality, performance and manufacturability requirements What you bring All roles A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics or a related fieldFluent English; Dutch is a plusADES 8+ years of experience in machine building, industrial engineering or the process industrySolid experience in mechanical design and system integrationKnowledge of piping design for high temperatures (up to 900 °C) and high pressuresKnowledge of materials science, fusion technology and/or salt-based processesSustaining and VPA About 5 years of experience as a Mechanical EngineerExperience at ASML, in the wider semiconductor industry, or at an ASML supplier (required)For Sustaining: proven experience with issue resolution and root cause analysis in a high-tech setting What's on offer A career path on a secondment-to-permanent basis, with a real prospect of a direct contract with the clientEmployment conditions equal to the client's, including holiday and ADV days under the client's collective labour agreement (CAO)Technically challenging work in an international, high-tech settingA role that fits your background: heavy machine building for ADES, semiconductor for Sustaining and VPA About Trinamics Trinamics is a well-known, specialized name in technical recruitment in the Netherlands.
