We also have 1st line support consultants who speak French and English, but also Italian, Spanish, Portuguese and German. The Application Services department is responsible for areas such as software development, data engineering, testing services, CRM, ITSM and ERP platform integrations, as well as application management for customers in Scandinavia, Benelux, France, Germany, Switzerland and the UK. Job Description We are looking for an experienced Microsoft SQL Server Administrator (Infrastructure Administrator) to join Sopra Steria Polska to cooperate with a team for our French client. Note that we can only offer cooperation to people are located in Silesian area and are willing to commute to our office in Katowice. Responsibilities: Administer and maintain Windows Server and Microsoft SQL Server environments.Perform system patching, upgrades, and security-related activities.Manage backup and restore processes and support infrastructure migration projects.Automate operational and administrative tasks using Ansible.Monitor infrastructure and ensure the stability and availability of production environments.Troubleshoot and resolve incidents as part of 2nd Line Support, in line with SLA requirements.Manage user accounts, access permissions, and secure access to IT services.Implement, test, and support new infrastructure solutions and system enhancements.Create and maintain technical documentation and operational procedures.Collaborate with customers and cross-functional teams to deliver infrastructure services and projects.Identify opportunities for optimization and continuous improvement within the IT environment.Contribute to effort estimations, technical assessments, and infrastructure-related project activities.
