We are looking for a Software Engineer with 3–5 years of professional experience in PHP and Angular to join our technology team in Dubai. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience in PHP/Laravel and Angular, with a good understanding of building scalable web applications, REST APIs, database-driven applications, and modern software development practices. You will work closely with product, technology, and business teams to design, develop, enhance, and maintain web-based applications and integrations. Key Responsibilities Design, develop, test, and maintain web applications using PHP/Laravel and Angular.Develop and integrate RESTful APIs for internal and external applications.Build responsive and user-friendly front-end applications using Angular, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript/TypeScript.Develop robust backend services and business logic using PHP and Laravel.Design, optimize, and work with SQL databases.Integrate third-party APIs and services as required.Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve application issues across frontend and backend components.Write clean, maintainable, reusable, and well-documented code.Participate in code reviews and follow established development standards and best practices.Collaborate with other developers, QA, product, and business stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver solutions.Contribute to application performance, security, scalability, and reliability improvements.Support deployment, maintenance, and production issue resolution when required.Stay updated with relevant technologies, frameworks, and development practices. Required Skills & Experience 3–5 years of professional software development experience.Strong hands-on experience with PHP.Good practical experience with Laravel or a similar PHP framework.Strong experience with Angular.Good knowledge of JavaScript / TypeScript, HTML, and CSS.Experience developing and consuming REST APIs.Strong understanding of SQL and relational databases.Good understanding of object-oriented programming and software development principles.Experience with Git/version control.Good debugging and problem-solving skills.Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a development team. Good to Have Experience with MySQL or PostgreSQL.Experience with API authentication mechanisms such as OAuth or JWT.Knowledge of application security and secure coding practices.Experience with Docker or cloud environments.Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and deployment processes.Experience working in Agile/Scrum development environments.Exposure to automated testing and unit/integration testing.
