About The Role We are currently seeking an experienced Front End Developer to join a high-profile programme with a leading global retail organization based in London. This is a contract position offering an exciting opportunity to contribute to the development and enhancement of cutting-edge web applications. The successful candidate will work closely with multidisciplinary teams, including product managers, UX/UI designers, and backend engineers, to create seamless, engaging, and user-centric digital experiences. This role demands a proactive approach, technical proficiency, and a keen eye for detail to ensure the delivery of high-quality front-end solutions that align with the company's strategic objectives. Qualifications The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in front-end development with proven experience in building modern web applications. Candidates should have a solid understanding of JavaScript, CSS, and responsive design principles. Prior experience working within Agile environments is essential, along with the ability to write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code. Familiarity with web standards, browser compatibility, and performance optimization techniques is also required. Additional knowledge of modern JavaScript frameworks or libraries, enterprise-level project experience, and accessibility best practices are considered advantageous. Responsibilities Develop, maintain, and enhance responsive web applications to ensure optimal performance across devices and browsers.Build clean, reusable, and efficient front-end code that adheres to best practices and coding standards.Collaborate closely with UX/UI designers to translate visual designs and prototypes into functional user interfaces.Optimize applications for speed, scalability, and overall user experience.Participate in the full software development lifecycle, including planning, design, testing, and deployment.Troubleshoot, debug, and improve existing applications to enhance stability and functionality.Engage in code reviews and contribute to continuous improvement of development processes. Benefits Intec Select Ltd offers a competitive daily rate within the range of 650 to 750 per day, reflecting the expertise and experience required for this role. The contract duration is six months, with the possibility of extension based on project needs and performance. This position is based in London and follows a hybrid working pattern, providing flexibility to balance remote work with onsite collaboration.
