About The Role We are seeking a System Engineer (w/m/d) specializing in Digital Experience and Digital Assistant to join our dynamic IT team in Bruchsal, Baden-Württemberg. This hybrid role offers an exciting opportunity to work on cutting-edge projects that enhance user interactions through conversational and digital experience solutions. As a key contributor, you will be responsible for developing modern frontend components, implementing scalable backend services, and designing engaging user interactions for our AI-powered digital assistant. Your expertise will help shape the future of our digital interfaces, ensuring they are user-centric, secure, and seamlessly integrated within our cloud-based architecture. Collaborating with international teams, you will participate in architecture decisions, performance optimizations, and security enhancements, contributing to innovative solutions that impact our global operations. Qualifications The ideal candidate will have a successfully completed degree in Computer Science, Media Informatics, Human-Computer Interaction, UX Design, or a related field. You should possess strong knowledge of Angular and TypeScript, along with experience in modern frontend architectures, including state management and automated testing. Extensive experience with .NET, ASP.NET Core, C#, REST APIs, authentication mechanisms, and database integrations is essential. Familiarity with cloud platforms such as Azure, container orchestration with Kubernetes, CI/CD pipelines, and Infrastructure-as-Code practices is required. Additionally, experience in conversational or interaction design, user-centered design principles, and security-by-design approaches, including SAST, DAST, dependency scanning, and pen testing, will be highly valued. The role demands strong conceptual skills, a high degree of user focus, enthusiasm for digital innovations and AI, and excellent communication skills to work effectively within interdisciplinary teams. Responsibilities Develop modern frontend components and intuitive user interfaces for web portals and AI-driven applications using Angular and TypeScript.Implement and continuously improve scalable backend services based on C#/.NET and ASP.NET Core frameworks.Design dialog structures and user interactions for conversational AI solutions within digital experience platforms.Create and maintain guidelines and best practices in conversational design to ensure consistency and quality.Integrate REST APIs and connect internal and external systems within a modern cloud architecture.Participate in architecture planning, performance tuning, and security-by-design initiatives to enhance system robustness and safety.Support the operation and maintenance of cloud-native solutions deployed on Azure and Kubernetes environments.
