About the Opportunity:
The SENIOR SOFTWARE ENGINEER will play a critical role in shaping and developing a newly-formed engineering squad dedicated to advancing the exteriors vertical.
This position entails end-to-end ownership of significant features across the sales-to-production workflow, contributing directly to the creation of a market-leading product line that supports contractors’ operational needs.
Responsibilities:
Own and deliver substantial components of the full sale-to-production lifecycle.Design and implement full-stack features using C#/.NET and React/TypeScript.Collaborate with product managers, designers, and engineers to translate contractor needs into software.Make informed technical decisions and engage with senior team members on architectural matters.Maintain high standards for code quality through writing and reviewing clean, tested, and maintainable code.Debug and resolve complex performance and reliability issues in a distributed system.Participate in technical design discussions and contribute to product architecture evolution.Communicate progress, trade-offs, and risks clearly with stakeholders.
Requirements:
8+ years of professional software engineering experience building production systems.Strong full-stack development skills with hands-on experience in C#/.NET and React/TypeScript.Solid knowledge of SQL databases and data model design.Experience with distributed systems and microservices architecture.Proficiency in Git, unit testing, debugging, and performance profiling.Effective communication and technical writing skills.Ability to work in ambiguous, evolving environments.Interest in understanding contractor workflows to deliver practical software solutions.Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related technical field.
