They're looking to appoint a Senior Node.js/AWS Developer to join their platform engineering team, building cloud-native products that power AI-driven content and large-scale digital campaigns for globally recognised brands. This is a senior position suited to someone with deep expertise across Node.js, TypeScript and AWS Serverless technologies, who enjoys taking ownership of projects from concept through to delivery. Full Time Permanent Role London (Hybrid) - 3 Days Onsite / 2 Days Remote Salary - Up to £80,000 + Benefits WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING Designing, building and delivering scalable backend applications using Node.js and TypeScriptDeveloping and maintaining REST APIs and serverless servicesArchitecting AWS cloud solutions using Lambda, API Gateway, DynamoDB, Step Functions, SNS, SQS and S3Taking projects from requirements gathering through to deployment and ongoing supportWorking closely with frontend developers, technical stakeholders and product teamsCreating and maintaining database structures across SQL and NoSQL environmentsSupporting CI/CD processes and deployment automationSolving complex technical challenges and contributing to architectural decisionsCommunicating technical concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholdersTaking ownership of solutions and driving delivery with minimal supervision WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR Strong commercial experience with Node.js and TypeScriptExperience designing and building REST APIsStrong AWS Serverless expertise including Lambda, API Gateway and DynamoDBExperience working with SQS, SNS, Step Functions and S3Strong SQL and NoSQL database knowledgeExperience with CI/CD pipelines and modern software delivery practicesAbility to work independently and take ownership of projectsExcellent communication and stakeholder management skillsStrong problem-solving capabilities and attention to detailA passion for building scalable, reliable cloud-native applications WHY IT'S INTERESTING AI-powered platform engineering environmentModern AWS-first technology stackHigh levels of ownership and autonomyOpportunity to work on products used by global consumer brandsWide variety of projectsBacked by a major organisation but with the culture of a smaller engineering-led business This is an opportunity to join a forward-thinking engineering team where you'll have significant impact on both platform development and technical strategy.
