Qualifications To succeed in this role, you should possess a strong foundation in software engineering principles, with experience in infrastructure, platform tooling, and modern development practices. You should be comfortable working across multiple languages and technologies, including Java, Go, Python, and TypeScript, with practical experience using Docker and Kubernetes. A demonstrated ability to make sound technical decisions, balance quality with pragmatism, and mentor colleagues is essential. You should enjoy collaborative problem-solving, thrive in ambiguous situations, and be passionate about leveraging technology to improve workflows and outcomes. Prior experience supporting AI tools and adopting innovative solutions within a development environment is highly desirable. Responsibilities You will engage directly with stakeholders to understand their needs, prioritize tasks based on impact, and navigate ambiguity effectively. Your responsibilities include developing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines, Golden Paths, and AI productivity tooling, with a current focus on enabling AI adoption across the organization. You will collaborate with other squads to troubleshoot issues, share knowledge, and develop solutions that enhance overall efficiency. As part of a rota, you will provide in-hours support to engineers, assisting with deployment problems, pipeline failures, or unfamiliar technical challenges. Your debugging skills, patience, and ability to deliver timely solutions will be vital to maintaining operational stability. Additionally, you will actively seek opportunities to improve existing systems, introduce best practices, and mentor junior engineers, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and technical excellence.
