About The Role We are seeking a highly skilled Senior NodeJS Backend Developer to join a rapidly expanding SaaS software business. This role offers the opportunity to work within a dynamic, fast-moving product and engineering team dedicated to building scalable and reliable backend services. The successful candidate will play a vital part in designing, developing, and maintaining microservices architecture, contributing to the company's innovative solutions. This position is fully remote, providing flexibility and the chance to collaborate with a talented team from anywhere in the world. Qualifications The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in server-side development with proven experience in NodeJS and TypeScript. A solid understanding of microservices architecture, cloud platforms such as AWS, and database management with SQL and NoSQL solutions is essential. Candidates should have experience working within Agile teams, practicing continuous integration and deployment (CI/CD), and writing comprehensive unit and integration tests. Additional knowledge of frameworks like NestJS, messaging systems like Kafka or RabbitMQ, and security protocols such as OAuth2 or AWS Cognito will be advantageous. Responsibilities Design and develop scalable server-side applications using NodeJS and TypeScript to meet business requirements.Take ownership of backend features from initial design through to deployment, ensuring high-quality and reliable delivery.Build, maintain, and optimize microservices architecture to support the company's SaaS platform.Write and maintain unit and integration tests to uphold software quality and robustness.Collaborate within an Agile development environment, participating in sprint planning, code reviews, and team discussions.Contribute to the continuous improvement of coding standards, development practices, and deployment processes.Work closely with product managers, frontend developers, and other stakeholders to deliver seamless solutions.Implement and maintain API integrations, ensuring security and performance standards are met.
