CTC is Germany's leading centre for research and development in the field of design and production of large and complex CFRP components; with an international reputation as an expert for process development, series readiness and production optimisation. The focus of the CTC's work is the development of series technologies for the production and assembly of CFRP components in aircraft construction. Your location You will be working at our research and development facilities in Stade. Your Tasks And Responsibilities Process development for automated fibre placement and ultrasonic cutting for a specific part designTest Preparation & Execution: Preparation, execution, data processing, and presentation of experimental results.Component Design & Automation: Component design and automation programming via offline programming methods.Formulation of corresponding design rules and methodologiesRegular professional exchange with colleagues in workshops and tech sessions Insight and adaptation of currently used technologies for fibre composite development in aerospace Desired Skills And Qualifications Enrolled full-time student (d/f/m) in the area of mechanical/ lightweight/ composites/ aerospace engineering; possibly software engineering or an equivalent field of study.First practical experience in the field of composite manufacturing and roboticsFirst experiences in programming and CAEAbility to work independently and on your own responsibilityHigh intrinsic motivation, teamwork and communication skillsEntrepreneurial thinking and actingWillingness to pass on own competences in a team and to exchange skills with each otherFluent in English, German is desirable Please upload the following documents: cover letter, CV, relevant transcripts, enrolment certificate.
