About The Role We are seeking a talented and motivated Fullstack Web Developer specializing in PHP and WordPress to join our dynamic team at our Viersen location. In this role, you will be instrumental in developing and maintaining engaging websites, working across both frontend and backend technologies. Your responsibilities will include translating creative designs into functional websites, enhancing existing platforms, and ensuring optimal performance and security. Collaborating within agile teams, you will have the opportunity to work on diverse projects, from small updates to large-scale developments exceeding 500 hours. The ideal candidate will have a passion for clean code, innovative solutions, and a keen eye for detail, contributing to the company's reputation for delivering high-quality digital products. Qualifications The successful candidate should possess a foundational experience in web development, with particular expertise in PHP and WordPress. A strong understanding of HTML, SCSS, JavaScript, and PHP is essential, along with familiarity with version control systems like Git and containerization tools such as Docker. Knowledge of Bootstrap, Symfony, and Twig will be advantageous, as well as initial exposure to modern frontend frameworks like React or Vue.js. Experience with e-commerce platforms such as Shopware, Shopify, Magento, or Gambio is a plus. Candidates should demonstrate a self-driven, goal-oriented, and structured approach to work, complemented by excellent communication skills in both German and English. A proactive attitude towards learning and problem-solving, coupled with the ability to work independently or collaboratively, is vital for success in this role.
