Senior Appian Developer

We are seeking a Senior Appian Developer to build and deliver secure, user-friendly enterprise e-services. You will turn business requirements into Appian applications, guide other developers, and work with product owners, designers, integration teams, and stakeholders from design through production support. Responsibilities: Design and develop Appian interfaces, record types, process models, business rules, and sites.Build workflows for applications, approvals, case management, notifications, and document handling.Design data models and integrate Appian with databases, APIs, identity services, and external systems.Implement role-based access, data security, auditability, and appropriate handling of sensitive information.Create responsive, accessible experiences for users with different roles and permissions with native Appian web/mobile.Review designs and code, mentor developers, and promote reusable components and development standards.Diagnose performance issues and improve application scalability and maintainability.Write and maintain unit and integration tests; support deployment, release validation, and production troubleshooting.Work with business teams to refine requirements, estimate delivery, and demonstrate completed features. Required qualifications Strong hands-on experience delivering production applications on Appian.Proficiency with Appian interfaces (SAIL), record types, process models, expression rules, security, and integrations.Experience designing relational data models and working with SQL.Experience integrating REST APIs and troubleshooting authentication, data mapping, and errors.Sound understanding of software delivery practices, testing, deployment, and version control.Ability to lead technical discussions, review others’ work, and explain design choices to nontechnical stakeholders. Preferred qualifications Appian Certified Senior Developer or Lead Developer.Experience with public-sector or high-volume customer-facing e-services.Experience with Azure, Microsoft Entra ID, document management, or payment integrations.Experience designing multilingual interfaces, including Arabic and right-to-left layouts.Familiarity with Appian AI capabilities and practical controls for their use in business processes.
