Finance hasn't changed much in decades. Spreadsheets, manual data pulls, and hours of repetitive work are still the norm. We're building our own internal operating system and largely automated financial models already in place, we're now building the AI-powered infrastructure that lets a small, elite team deliver CFO work at a level traditional firms can't match. That's where you come in. You'll be our first dedicated developer, joining our team and building the automations and AI tools that power how a modern finance firm runs. You work directly with the founders, and your opinion on what to build and how carries real weight. A backlog of interesting projects. Finance API integrations, AI agents, internal tooling, dashboards. There's far more we want to build in the long term, so this role has room to grow. AI is at the core, not a side project. We're investing heavily in AI across the business. You'll help shape how a finance firm runs when AI does the heavy lifting and people focus on judgment. Work from anywhere. We're fully remote. The Role What you'll do: Build reliable integrations with Stripe, Shopify, Meta, Google, QuickBooks, and Xero that feed data automatically into our Google Sheets financial modelsHelp build our AI-driven finance dashboard for clientsDesign and build an AI agent that connects our internal OS, financial models, and call recordings, so anyone on the team can ask "what's happening with this client?" and get a real answerStrengthen our internal operating system with a proper database backend, better reliability, and fewer bugsPropose better ways of doing things, and push back when something isn't worth buildingWhat you won't do: Build throwaway demos that never get usedWait weeks for approvals What You Bring Hands-on experience integrating finance or payment APIs (Stripe, Shopify, QuickBooks, Xero, or similar)Strong experience with the Google Sheets and backend skills, including databases, data pipelines, and keeping data secure and consistentExperience building with LLMs, AI agents, or RAG, or a strong drive to go deep on itSecurity-minded habits.
