Are you the go-to SME when it comes to 4G/5G networks? If so, we are seeking to find a Wireless Core Engineer Sr to join our growing telecom team! In this role you will be the architect and guardian of the LTE EPC and 5GC SA core functions, powering a cutting-edge private network purpose-built for critical infrastructure across Texas.
Our network is built on a resilient, multi-tenant Ericsson Dual-Mode 5G Core hosted on CNIS and NFVI.
We deliver mission-critical data, voice and interoperability services.
High availability, cybersecurity, and isolation are engineered into everything we do!
As a key member of our team, you will drive our live- core operations, taking ownership of critical tasks like traces, MOPs, configuration, and upgrades.
Your day-to-day will be managing KPIs and alarms, leading root-cause analysis (RCA), expanding the network and NOC support.

How You’ll Contribute
Operate and maintain the Ericsson EPC CUPS stack on CNIS/NFVI: PCC (MME, SGW-C, PGW-C), PCG (SGW-U, PGW-U), CCDM, CCSM, CCPC (PCRF), CCRC, EM, and EDA2.
Capture and analyze traces (GTP-C/U, PFCP/Sx, Diameter, S1-MME/S1-U, NAS) and close RCA on attach, session, user-plane, provisioning, and MCX/LMR failures.
Author, validate, and execute Method of Procedures (MOPs) for configuration updates and RAN additions, implementing regression testing to ensure network stability.
Provision SIMs and subscribers; build and maintain private APNs.
Monitor KPIs and alarms across the core and support the NOC as the Ericsson core SME.
How You’re Qualified
Nine or more years of experience in network architecture, engineering, cybersecurity, or network systems design, including large-scale enterprise environments, commercial carrier networks, or related field or other relevant experience.A degree(s) in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology or relevant field may be substituted per LCRA guidelines for certain years of experience.Driver's license
