Job Summary The Mountain Division COE & Enablement team is actively seeking a dedicated and experienced Senior Instructional Designer to join the team. This team is a centralized resource, responsible for working with operations, establishing best practices, and scaling solutions across all our resorts. The Senior Instructional Designer will deliver scalable learning programs and curricula to multiple stakeholder groups in support of operators working at our resorts. Additionally, this position will be responsible for the design, development, and continued maintenance of enterprise-wide curricula. Successful candidates will establish themselves as a trusted partner, understanding business needs and desired outcomes to inform training design. In this capacity they will offer end-to-end solutions and experiences in alignment with our overall talent strategy, and partner across Mountain Division with operators. Through this work, this role will apply critical thinking in service of delivering desired business outcomes. Success in this role will be measured by business outcomes and the impact the programs and other designed solutions have on our Mountain Division talent. Job Specifications Starting Wage: $73,841.00 - $100,000.00 + Annual bonus Employment Type: Year Round Shift Type: Full Time hours availableMinimum Age: At least 18 years of age Housing Availability: No Job Responsibilities Manage end-to-end training solutions and partner across Mountain Division to deliver on projects impacting Mountain Division priorities, including program design, discerning ideal modalities for a dispersed learning environment, leading stakeholder engagement, risk identification and mitigation, materials development, and change management.Lead large-scale learning and development projects for the organization.Consults with stakeholders to assess learning and training needs, identify gaps, incorporate operational variables, discern between localization needs and company-wide practices, and determine appropriate learning strategy.Design and develop training in all modalities including online training, virtual training, instructor-led, job aids, videos, etc.Project manage the development and implementation of training projects, ensuring they are delivered on time and on budget; including preparing and delivering project documentation, status reports, and communications with stakeholders.Implement evaluation strategy to demonstrate effectiveness and return on investment of all training.Upholds standards for content design, development, and delivery, including multi-modal learning strategies.Responsible for the continued maintenance and development of training curriculum to consistently improve and evolve our programs as we grow and scale the business.Facilitate instructor led training as needed and conducts train-the-trainer sessions to prepare others to deliver training. Job Requirements At least 5 years of instructional design and development experience with a focus in operations trainingA strong portfolio of eLearning and instructor-led training work that demonstrates mastery as an instructional designer and expertise with Articulate StorylineStrong content writing ability, creativity, attention to detail and excellent proofing and editing skillsDemonstrated experience leading and launching large-scale training projectsCritical thinking skills and analytical approach to problem-solving while driving toward solutionsStrong graphic design capabilities preferred.
