About The Team
The Point of Rental Client Delivery team is looking for a Web Developer/Designer who can configure and build websites for our customers.
These sites connect to our customers' POR systems, so they do more than look good: they show inventory, take reservations, and bring in new business.
We're bringing on a Web Developer / Designer for a 6-month contract to own customer projects from start to finish and help us deliver high-quality sites quickly.
What you'll do
Build and configure custom websites for POR customers, from discovery to launchRun discovery sessions with customers to learn their brand, goals, and needsTurn customer brands into clean, responsive, mobile-first site designs, and revise them based on feedbackBuild sites from our templates and components, customizing them to fit each customerSet up and test online inventory, catalog, and booking or quote request features that connect to the customer's POR systemManage several customer projects at once, keeping timelines, scope, and launch dates on trackOptimize every site for speed, SEO basics, and accessibility before launchTrain customers to update their own content after go-live, and handle post-launch change requestsPartner with Implementation, Support, and Account Management so each customer has a smooth experienceDocument your work and flag template or process improvements so the team benefits after your contract ends
What you bring
2-5 years of experience building and configuring websites, ideally for clients in an agency, freelance, or professional services settingStrong HTML, CSS, and JavaScript skills, with experience in responsive and mobile-first developmentA portfolio of live sites you designed and builtProficiency in Figma (or similar) for mockups and prototypesHands-on experience with a CMS or site builder such as WordPress or WebflowConfidence working directly with customers: running calls, presenting designs, and handling feedback professionallyStrong project management skills, with the ability to juggle multiple deadlines without losing qualityWorking knowledge of SEO basics, site performance, and web accessibilityThe ability to ramp up quickly on new systems and deliver with minimal hand-holding
