What you'll be doing As a Senior Software Developer, you’ll be a proficient all-around developer designing and developing systems and architecture, from cloud-based user interfaces to low-level actions on mobile robots. You’ll also get the opportunity to take on a technical lead role, leveraging your expertise to teach others and contribute to our development work. You'll work on everything from robot user interfaces and perception system development to cloud-based solutions and data analysis. What we are looking for You're a highly skilled and independent team player with a strong interest in autonomous mobile robots. You have a proactive attitude and a drive to spot opportunities for improvement. To succeed in this role, you should have: Over 5 years of software development experience, with a proven track record of designing complex software architectures from scratchA university-level degree (M.Sc. or higher) in a relevant field like robotics, computer science, or electrical engineeringExpert-level C++ skillsExpert-level Python skillsExperience with web development technologies, such as Typescript, ReactJS, and Django, or similarStrong problem-solving and analytical skillsProficiency with Git, Docker, and LinuxWillingness to learn; in our small teams everybody needs to do a bit of everything We also consider the following skills a plus: Familiarity with ROS/ROS2Practical knowledge of 3D point cloud processing and spatial data structuresExperience with developing high-performance real-time softwareHands-on experience with multi-sensor fusionExperience with agile-based developmentExperience with DevOps, CI/CD, and Pipelines developmentProject management and direct customer interaction experience What we offer At GIM Robotics, we believe our team's success and well-being are what drive our innovation.
