About the Opportunity: The SENIOR SOFTWARE ENGINEER II in the Solution Lifecycle team plays a key role in developing the next generation of the platform, focusing on building scalable backend services and maintaining core infrastructure. This position contributes to the reliability, stability, and performance of foundational systems and collaborates closely with product managers and engineers. The role emphasizes collective code ownership through mob programming and involves mentoring, applying rigorous engineering practices, and leveraging AI tools to enhance team productivity. Responsibilities: Design and build scalable backend services for next-generation applications.Maintain and scale core infrastructure ensuring system reliability and performance.Manage and upgrade large-scale database infrastructure with automation.Collaborate daily in a mob programming environment, participating in code reviews and architectural discussions.Apply Test-Driven Development to ensure system resilience.Utilize AI tools to improve coding, testing, design, and troubleshooting processes.Participate in on-call rotations to support system operational health. Requirements: 8+ years of experience in software development with proficiency in at least one modern programming language; Go experience is a plus.3+ years working with cloud technologies and Infrastructure as Code (Terraform).Strong backend development experience including building scalable applications and supporting REST APIs.Comfortable with team-centric engineering practices and mob programming.Skilled in troubleshooting complex technical problems in large-scale systems.Excellent verbal and written communication skills.At least 1 year using AI tools professionally to enhance productivity.BS or MS degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent industry experience.Legal eligibility to work in the U.S. on an ongoing basis.
