Senior Full Stack Engineer

About The Company Our client is a Sydney-headquartered B2B SaaS company whose platform is used by thousands of businesses across Australia and overseas. Well funded and growing quickly, they're investing in product and engineering as they expand into new markets and launch new product lines. About The Role You'll report to the Engineering Manager and join a cross-functional squad alongside a Product Manager, Product Designer and fellow engineers. The contract is focused on building a new product from the ground up, working across the TypeScript stack from React front end to Node services, with real ownership of what ships. SuperInitial 6-month contract with extension prospectsHybrid working, two days a week in the Sydney officeA greenfield product build on a modern TypeScript stack, working directly with product and design Duties / Key Responsibilities Build and ship features end to end in TypeScript, from React front ends through to Node.js servicesDesign and build the APIs that power the new product, using GraphQL or RESTWork with the Product Manager and Product Designer to shape features from early concept through to releaseWrite automated tests and contribute to the CI/CD pipelines that get releases out safelyReview pull requests and pair with other engineers to keep code quality high Skills and Experience 5+ years of commercial software engineering, including time in product or SaaS companiesDeep TypeScript and Node.js experience building services and APIs, with GraphQL highly regardedStrong React experience on production web applicationsHands-on AWS experienceSolid PostgreSQL or similar relational database skillsComfortable with automated testing, CI/CD and Git-based workflowsPrevious contract roles and the ability to deliver quickly in a new teamConfident using AI coding assistants in day-to-day deliveryFull Australian working rights Conor is recruiting for this role on behalf of Allura Partners.
