Azure Integration Engineer Location: Sydney, Australia Experience: 10–12 Years Job Description We are looking for a highly experienced Azure Integration Engineer to design, develop, and support scalable, secure, and high-performing enterprise integration solutions. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on expertise in Microsoft Azure, .NET Core, API development, and cloud-based integration technologies. Key Responsibilities Design, develop, and deploy RESTful APIs using C#, .NET Core, ASP.NET Web API, and Azure Functions.Develop and manage APIs using Azure API Management (APIM), including policies, security, versioning, and throttling.Build event-driven and asynchronous integrations using Azure Service Bus, Event Grid, and Logic Apps.Design and implement microservices and cloud-native integration solutions.Integrate SaaS, on-premise, and third-party systems using secure and scalable integration patterns.Implement authentication and authorization using OAuth 2.0, Azure AD, JWT, RBAC, and API keys.Monitor and troubleshoot applications using Azure Monitor, Application Insights, Log Analytics, and KQL.Develop logging, diagnostics, alerting, and monitoring dashboards.Optimize application performance using caching technologies such as Redis.Design and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps.Support deployments, release management, environment configuration, production troubleshooting, and continuous improvement.Required Skills & Experience 10–12 years of software development/integration experience.Strong hands-on experience with C#, .NET Core, ASP.NET MVC, and Web API.Extensive experience with:Azure API ManagementAzure FunctionsAzure Service BusAzure Event GridAzure Logic AppsStrong experience with REST and SOAP integrations.Experience with SQL Server, Oracle, and/or MySQL.Good understanding of microservices architecture and cloud-native design.Experience with Swagger/OpenAPI and API documentation.Experience with xUnit/NUnit or similar testing frameworks.Strong knowledge of Azure DevOps, Git, CI/CD, and release pipelines.Experience with Postman, Visual Studio, and VS Code.Knowledge of Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, and KQL.Certifications Microsoft Certified: Azure FundamentalsMicrosoft Certified: Power Platform Developer AssociateDesirable Domain Experience Healthcare systems and government integrations.Energy, utilities, or other regulated enterprise environments.Integration with external agencies and third-party platforms.Ideal Candidate The successful candidate should have strong problem-solving and communication skills, experience working in enterprise environments, and the ability to design and deliver reliable Azure integration solutions from development through production support.
