Job Title: Senior .NET Systems Developer – 2 Openings – Albany, NY Location: Albany, New York Work Arrangement: On-site from Day 1 Employment Type: Long-term W-2 contract Duration: 24 months About the Role SDVO Technology Services, Inc., a NYS OGS-certified Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Business (SDVOB), is recruiting for two Senior .NET Systems Developer positions supporting a New York State government technology engagement in Albany, NY. These are long-term, 24-month positions supporting the New York State Office of Children & Family Services. The work location is: 6 Empire State Plaza Albany, NY 12212 Candidates must be available to work on-site in Albany from Day 1. This is not a remote position. This is not a C2C opportunity. About the Work The selected developers will work with a development team, Business Analysts, a Technical Lead, Project Manager, and Software Architect on development of a new Facility Application Management system. Responsibilities include: Developing and maintaining N-tier .NET web applicationsDeveloping ASP.NET MVC applicationsWorking with Business Analysts on system analysis and logical designPerforming unit testingTroubleshooting and correcting application defectsPerforming VB.NET developmentResponding to application and data requestsDeveloping Oracle PL/SQL packages, stored procedures, and triggersWorking with relational databases and application dataDeveloping and maintaining reports using SQL Server Reporting ServicesSupporting enterprise application development throughout the SDLCCollaborating with technical and business teams in a structured government IT environment Minimum Experience Requirements Applicants should not apply unless they can substantiate the following professional experience: At least 84 months / 7 years developing N-tier .NET web applicationsAt least 72 months / 6 years using PL/SQL to write packages, stored procedures, and triggersAt least 60 months / 5 years using Model-View-Controller (MVC)At least 60 months / 5 years using SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS)At least 36 months / 3 years using jQueryBachelor’s degree These experience thresholds are part of the government qualification process and will need to be documented in detail if you advance.
