Job Description The Software Team is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to help bridge the gap between complex hardware and exceptional customer experience. In this role, you will collaborate across disciplines, interfacing directly with IC design, firmware, and marketing teams to build intuitive, customer-facing software that unlocks the full potential of our silicon. Responsibilities Design, develop, debug, test, and maintain software that meets the needs of both customers and internal teamsWork with software requirements from diverse groups including customers, application engineers, hardware, and firmware engineers.Contribute to both existing and new projects, covering a broad range of languages and scope. We use Java, Kotlin and Python, Typescript/ReactCollaborate with applications and systems engineers to troubleshoot systems failures and propose software remediesParticipate in code reviews for fellow team members Qualifications 5+ years of software development experience covering breadth and depth Technical expertise in Java programming language, with a strong preference for those with Kotlin knowledgeExperience with JavaFX or GUI development is strongly preferred, including exposure to JavaScript or TypeScriptAbility to investigate and apply new technologies to enhance the developer experienceExecutes creative software solutions, design, development and technical troubleshooting with the ability to think beyond routine or conventional approaches to build solutions or break down technical problemsStrong understanding of Software Architecture and Design principles, Behavior-Driven Development and unit testingMust have highly developed written and verbal cross-functional communication skillsExperience with JIRA, Confluence and GitLab preferredExperience with basic electronics, microcontroller programming and bus communications strongly preferredEducation Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or Electrical Engineering.
