Job Summary Join our team supporting the Leidos SEC ISS2 contract as a Senior OpenShift/Kubernetes GitOps and CI/CD Engineer. In this remote role, you will architect, engineer, and build an enterprise container delivery capability from the ground up, enabling the transition of agency workloads from legacy virtualized environments to modern Red Hat OpenShift platforms. location: Telecommute job type: Contract salary: $66.34 - 76.34 per hour Work Hours education: Bachelors Responsibilities KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Architect and implement enterprise GitOps (Argo CD) and CI/CD (Tekton/OpenShift Pipelines) capabilities across application teams.Develop automated, reusable pipelines for container builds (Buildah), security policy gates (ACS), and artifact/image registry management (Quay, Nexus, Artifactory).Establish standardized Git branching models, Helm/Kustomize configurations, and deployment promotion workflows.Integrate application delivery pipelines with enterprise security, identity, change control, and observability systems (CyberArk, Entra ID, ServiceNow, Datadog). Qualifications REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS U.S. Citizenship and ability to obtain an SEC Public Trust clearance. Bachelor's degree with 8-12 years of experience OR Master's degree with 6-10 years of experience (or equivalent experience). Proven experience designing and operating enterprise CI/CD and GitOps delivery frameworks in Kubernetes/OpenShift environments. Deep experience with container image creation, registry management, Helm, Kustomize, and Git branching strategies. Preferred Qualifications Hands-on experience with Red Hat OpenShift Pipelines, Red Hat OpenShift GitOps, Buildah, Quay, and Advanced Cluster Security (ACS). Certifications in Kubernetes (CKA/CKAD) or Red Hat OpenShift. Background supporting federal agencies governed by FISMA, NIST, or FedRAMP standards.
