Full Stack Software Engineer Position Overview We are seeking a Full Stack Software Engineer to design, build, and maintain scalable web applications. You will work across the stack to implement new features, improve system performance, and deliver high-quality software in an agile environment. The role emphasizes pragmatic engineering, strong collaboration with product and design teams, and a focus on reliability and maintainability. Key Responsibilities Design, implement, and maintain backend services and APIs using Ruby on Rails and/or Python.Develop responsive, accessible front-end interfaces with modern JavaScript frameworks and libraries.Collaborate with product managers, designers, and other engineers to define requirements and ship features end-to-end.Write automated tests (unit, integration, end-to-end) and maintain test coverage to ensure software quality.Participate in code reviews, mentor junior engineers, and share best practices across the team.Own deployment pipelines and contribute to CI/CD, monitoring, and incident response processes.Optimize application performance and scalability, including database queries and caching strategies.Document architecture, design decisions, and operational runbooks.Ensure security, privacy, and compliance considerations are integrated into the development lifecycle.Qualifications 5+ years as a Sofwtare EngineerProven experience with Ruby on Rails and building RESTful APIs.Strong JavaScript skills and experience with modern frameworksExperience with Python for backend services, scripts, or automation.Solid understanding of relational and NoSQL databases, schema design, and query optimization.Familiarity with testing frameworks, TDD practices, and automated testing tools.Experience with CI/CD tooling, containerization (Docker), and cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure).Proficient with Git, branching strategies, and collaborative workflows.Excellent problem-solving skills, clear communication, and the ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams.Bachelors degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent practical experience.Benefits - Medical Dental and Vision Plan - PTO - Amazing in office work benefits!
