Senior Software Engineer

The Opportunity This isn't a "close tickets and go home" role. We want a developer who ships real products, lives on the cutting edge of AI, and can step up to lead other developers. If AI isn't already at the center of how you build, this isn't the role for you. You will have the opportunity to: Build and launch new apps and tools from scratch, both customer-facing and internal.Work directly with company leadership and help shape our technology strategy.Push the limits of what AI can do in software development and in the products themselves.Build and grow our development team, including overseas talent.Work in person with a high-energy team that moves fast and celebrates wins. What You'll Do Build and Ship: Architect, code, and launch SaaS-style apps and tools from the ground up. Own features end to end, from planning through deployment.Build AI-First: AI isn't a side tool for you, it's how you work. Use the latest AI coding tools and agents (Claude Code, Cursor, and whatever launches next week) to ship at a speed traditional developers can't match.Build AI Into Products: Design and launch AI-powered features, agents, and automations.Shape Tech Strategy: Work with leadership to decide what we build, how we build it, and in what order. Recommend tools, architecture, and priorities that support the business goals.Build Out Overseas Teams: Recruit, hire, and onboard offshore developers. Set up the processes, communication, and accountability that keep a distributed team shipping on time.Lead the Team: Manage and mentor developers across time zones. Set standards for code quality, review work, unblock people, and hold the team accountable to deadlines.Improve Process: Evaluate how we build today and make it faster, cleaner, and more reliable.Juggle Priorities: Manage multiple builds at once without dropping the ball. AI Leadership & Innovation We're looking for someone who is on the cutting edge of AI, not someone who read about it last month. You should be one of the first people to test new models, tools, and techniques, and you should know exactly how to turn them into a competitive advantage. You will: Stay ahead of every major AI release and quickly figure out how it can make us faster or better.Build with AI agents, LLM APIs, and automation workflows, not just chat prompts.Train and upskill the entire dev team so everyone builds AI-first.Bring new ideas to leadership on how AI can transform our products, marketing, and operations.Make sure the AI we ship is reliable, responsible, and delivers measurable results. Who You Are Proven SaaS Builder: 5+ years of professional software development with at least one SaaS app you built and launched to real users. We want to see what you've shipped.Cutting-Edge AI Expert: You are obsessed with AI and at the front of the curve. You use AI coding tools and agents every single day, you've built production features on top of LLM APIs (OpenAI, Anthropic, etc.), and you're usually the one showing others the newest tools, not the other way around.Team Builder and Leader: You've managed or led developers before, and ideally you've hired and built out overseas or remote teams. You know how to delegate, give feedback, and keep a distributed team shipping.Strategic Thinker: You can connect technical decisions to business outcomes and hold your own in conversations with leadership.Full-Stack Capable: Comfortable across frontend, backend, databases, APIs, and cloud deployment.Execution-Focused: You get in the weeds. You write code, debug, deploy, and do whatever it takes to hit a deadline.eCommerce Experience (Big Plus): Experience with Shopify, DTC brands, subscription commerce, or marketing tech is a strong advantage.Culture Fit: Positive, driven, and competitive.
