Partner with physicians, hospital IT teams, and clinical champions to understand workflows.Turn ambiguous clinical problems into production-ready AI agents.Build, evaluate, and deploy agents end-to-end on the Carebricks platform.Monitor deployments and improve agents using clinical guidelines and operational feedback.Own the feedback loop from a physician identifying a problem to shipping a production fix, potentially within days.
What you’ll bring
Typically 3–6 years in full-stack, forward deployed, or similar engineering roles.
Exceptional candidates with 2–3 yearsmay also be considered.Strong Python backend development and React/TypeScript frontend experience.A BS/MS in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or another STEM field.Meaningful ownership of production software development and deployment.At least one standout signal: strong CS/STEM academics, rapid promotions, a founding or early engineering role at a recognizable startup, experience at a high-bar engineering organization, or FDE experience at companies such as Palantir or Scale AI.
Helpful experience: Rust, Kubernetes/Helm, AWS, LLMs and AI agents, EHR integrations/FHIR, healthcare or health tech, and early-stage VC-backed startups.
Background fit For early-career candidates, strong signals include high-growth startup experience, FDE experience, or exceptional academics.
For more experienced candidates, Big Tech combined with startup, FDE, or customer-facing deployment experience is particularly relevant.
Pure Big Tech experience without startup or customer deployment exposure, multiple startup/founding roles lasting under approximately one year each, or limited production engineering ownership would not align with the target profile.
