Job Title: SRE / Application Support Engineer Contract: 12+ months Contract with solid possibility to hire or extension Location: Montreal - Hybrid First 3 months: 5 days per week in the office.After the first 3 months: Minimum 3 days per week in the office. Working Hours: Must be available to start as early as 7:00 AM to support the US market. Calendar/Holidays: Follow the US / New York holiday calendar. Requirements Education & Experience Degree in Computer Science preferred.Minimum 5 years of experience in Application Support, IT Operations, or a hybrid Support/SRE role.Monitoring: ITRS Geneos, ELK — hands-on experience required.Databases: SQL and NoSQL, query writing, stored procedures, query optimization.Windows: Windows Server environments, services, IIS, scheduled tasks.UNIX/Linux: Navigation, shell scripting, Perl.Batch Scheduling: Control-M.Incident & Request Management: Jira or equivalent tools.CI/CD: Jenkins, Artifactory, Ansible — working knowledge.Containers: Docker, Kubernetes — working knowledge.AI Tools: GitHub Copilot.Programming: C — nice to have.Cloud: AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud
