About The Role We are seeking an experienced Web Developer to join Razor Talent to support essential web infrastructure projects for a longstanding client. This role involves developing, enhancing, and maintaining web applications and websites that are vital to our client’s operations. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in both front-end and back-end development, capable of delivering comprehensive technical solutions. This position requires active TS/SCI clearance with Polygraph, reflecting the sensitive nature of the work and the need for trusted, security-cleared professionals. Qualifications Minimum of 5+ years of professional experience developing websites and web applications.Extensive experience with JavaScript and PHP, demonstrating proficiency in coding, troubleshooting, and optimizing applications.Proven ability to write source code for new applications and review, enhance, and maintain existing software.Strong knowledge of database systems, particularly MySQL, and experience working with data-driven applications.Demonstrated capability to work across both front-end and back-end development, including user interfaces, middleware, services, and APIs.Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field; alternatively, 8+ years of relevant Web Development or Software Engineering experience may be considered in lieu of a degree. Responsibilities Develop, enhance, and maintain websites and web applications to ensure optimal performance, security, and usability.Write clean, efficient, and well-documented source code for new applications, adhering to best practices and project standards.Review and improve existing codebases, identifying opportunities for optimization and scalability.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement solutions that meet client requirements and technical specifications.Work across the full technology stack, including creating user interfaces, developing middleware, and integrating services and APIs.Engage with database systems such as MySQL to develop, maintain, and optimize data storage solutions.Participate in client requirement gathering sessions, translating needs into technical solutions that improve workflows through automation and process improvements.Identify and resolve complex technical challenges, providing innovative solutions to enhance system functionality and performance.Coordinate with team members to ensure project milestones are met and deliverables are of high quality.
