Software Engineer

We are currently looking for a Software Engineer to build scalable backend systems, APIs, and data pipelines that power AI-driven features. This role is focused on bringing AI capabilities such as LLMs, embeddings, and retrieval-augmented generation into production software. You’ll work closely with product and design teams while contributing to architecture and technical direction. A growing technology organization based in Charlotte, NC, builds event-first websites and digital platforms for arts organizations, venues, stadiums, arenas, and live entertainment brands. The organization focuses on creating digital experiences that support the live entertainment and arts industry. Location: Charlotte, NC — Hybrid, 3 days onsite per week Salary: $92,000–$115,000 Required Skills & Experience Python JavaScript / TypeScript PHP or Go Backend systems and API development AWS, GCP, or Azure SQL and/or NoSQL databases AI API integration, including LLMs, embeddings, and vector search Desired Skills & Experience Experience building AI-powered applications in production Pinecone, Weaviate, LangChain, or LlamaIndex ML fundamentals Docker/Kubernetes Event-driven or streaming architectures React or Next.js What You Will Be Doing Build and maintain scalable backend systems and APIs Integrate AI/ML capabilities into production applications Develop data pipelines for AI workflows Build RAG and context-aware systems Evaluate and integrate third-party AI tools and services Improve system performance, reliability, and cost efficiency Write clean, tested, maintainable code Collaborate with product and design teams Contribute to architecture and technical direction Benefits Company benefits provided by employer Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the US on a full-time basis now and in the future.
